Snow numerical tools

WP10 will be in charge of developing numerical tools for snow. This presentation details the work ongoing and to come.

File type: pdf

Liquid conditions instrumentation

Part of ICE GENESIS focuses on selecting instrumentation for liquid and snow conditions. This presentation explains the work performed for liquid conditions (WP4).

File type: pdf

Liquid conditions IWT improvements and calibration

ICE GENESIS focuses on improving and calibrating existing icing wind tunnels in Austria, Russia, France, Italy for liquid conditions.

RainbowVision SAS - Droplet Temperature Measurements for Efficient Combustors and Icing Safety - Sawitree SAENGKAEW- Aerotech Conference - Sept 2019

RainbowVision has developed a device to measure simultaneously the droplet size distribution and the droplet temperature in real time. The technique has been successfully used to measure the evolution of N-Heptane droplet relatively to the distance to the flame front in diphasic swirled flame [1] as well as to measure the temperature of water droplet in Icing Wind Tunnel [2]. In the presentation at Aerotech Europe, new results of interest for the characterization of icing by Large Supercolled Droplet (LSD) has been presented.
